Diane Huntington Loring, Officially Accepted to Huntington University!

“In my quest to always maximize my personal potential, it is with great joy that I receive this letter of acceptance from, Huntington University.  It is a wonderful university placed in Huntington County and touted as one of the best.
My personal family lineage/history in Huntington County, is with my great, great, great, great, uncle, Samuel Huntington, Signer of the Declaration of Independence and his father, my great, great, great, great, great grandfather, Nathaniel Huntington.
Samuel Huntington, is the namesake of Huntington County, Indiana.  Because Huntington was the President of the Continental Congress when the Articles of Confederation were ratified, some unconventional biographers and civic groups in Connecticut claim that Huntington was actually the first President of the United States.
It is with a great deal of pride and pleasure that I find myself honored by being accepted into Huntington University, home to my Huntington ancestors.”  Diane Elizabeth Huntington Loring
